Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Bag-in-Box Systems

How long does Bag-in-Box wine last? How do you dispose of the box correctly? Which is better: glass or BiB? Here you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

1. What exactly is a Bag-in-Box?

A practical packaging system consisting of an inner bag with a tap, protected by a cardboard box. Ideal for wine, juice, or lemonade.

2. How long does the content last?

Unopened, up to 12 months. Once opened:

  • Wine: 4–6 weeks

  • Juice: 2–3 weeks (chilled)
The tap prevents air contact – that's the big advantage!

3. Is the Bag-in-Box environmentally friendly?

Yes! It causes up to 10x less CO₂ than glass bottles, is lighter & more compact. The bag & cardboard can be disposed of separately.

4. Is it hygienic?

Absolutely. The content never comes into contact with air or germs. And with a Felecity holder, the box stands neatly and securely on the table.

5. Does it also work with juice or water?

Of course! Many organic juices and lemonades are available in BiB format. Cold brew coffee or iced tea are also possible.

6. How do I serve Bag-in-Box stylishly?

Preferably with a modern 3D-printed holder made of PLA – like those from Felecity. This turns the box into an eye-catcher instead of a makeshift solution.

7. How many times can I refill the box?

Bag-in-Box systems are disposable packaging – after emptying, they should be recycled. Felecity holders, however, are reusable.

8. What sizes are available?

Standard sizes are 3L, 5L, and 10L – ideal for households, events, and small cafes.

9. Does every box fit into the Felecity holder?

We offer holders in 3L, 5L, and 10L variations. There are various models – you're sure to find the right look.
